Located at an altitude of 90 m at the gates of the Othe Forest massif stretching tens of miles between the Yonne and the Aube, Passy has 300 inhabitants (Passicois) over an area of 574 hectares. A small 17th century church adorns its periphery around the castle grounds.
Each year a garage sale is held the last Sunday in August and a Christmas market in late November or early December.
