Located in the heart of the Alps, in Haute-Savoie, Lake Anterne extends over ten hectares, in the Sixt-Passy nature reserve. Installed at an altitude of more than 2000 meters, in the mountain pastures, it is a glacio-karstic polje formed by the chemical dissolution of Malm limestones.
This magnificent site is accessible via a hiking trail leaving from the Lignon car park, for a round trip duration of 7h30.
