Parzac is a town northeast of the Charente, located 6 km northwest of Saint-Claud and 51 km north-east of Angouleme.
During the first half of the twentieth century, the nearest train station was that of St. Lawrence-Great-Madieu, located 4 km from the town, on the line of Roumazières in Ruffec.
At the same time, the industry in the town was represented by several flour mills on the bell.
Its inhabitants are Parzacois and Parzacoises.
