Founded in the late 1980s, the National Theater Hill takes place in the heart of the 20th district of Paris. As one of the six national theaters of the capital, it is mainly devoted to contemporary and modern theatrical writing of the 20th and 21st centuries.
Inaugurated by François Léotard, then Minister of Culture, he is located in the place of the theater of the East of Paris. Highly representative of the architecture of the 80s, the building has a glass facade and many traffic areas.
A dozen shows are presented each season, attracting nearly 100,000 spectators each year.
