The Musée de Radio France was opened in 1966 in the house of Radio Kennedy Avenue, in the 16th arrondissement of the capital.
The establishment is currently closed to the public because of works and pending a possible redeployment, its collections are the subject of occasional exhibitions on other sites.
The museum has collections related to the history of radio and television techniques: radio transmitters or receivers (the oldest dating back to the end of the 19th century), television sets, tape recorders for reporters, headsets, microphones, speakers, posters...
The museum's archives and fonds are open to researchers by appointment. The site of the radio house (studios, auditorium, etc.) is open to music, by appointment as well.
