Building of the 18th district of Paris, at 15 Junot Avenue, the house of Tristan Tzara is listed as a Historical Monument and a 20th century Heritage Site. Modern style house, it is the work of the Austrian architect Adolf Loos for Tristan Tzara, writer and Romanian poet founder of the Dada movement, and his wife, the painter Greta Knutson.
Very daring construction, the house has a first parallélépipède dark rubble surmounted by a second parallelepiped white plaster. The facade is itself pierced by a large loggia adorned with windows. At the back, the building develops in successive terraces with a southern exposure.
