The Hotel de Metz de Rosnay, also sometimes referred to as Forceville Hotel or Hotel Vigier, is located on Place de la Victoire, in the 2nd arrondissement of the capital.
Precisely located at the corner of the Rue La Feuillade, on the west side, it was erected during the last quarter of the 17th century when the place dedicated to the military victories of Louis XIV was built, including an equestrian statue in the center from this circular square. The construction of this mansion necessitated the destruction of the hotel La Ferté-Senneterre.
Classified Historical Monument in 1962, the building shelters on the ground floor a bank branch, inside which original woodwork has been preserved.
With the exception of guests who can admire a small part of the building, the hotel de Metz de Rosnay can not be visited. You can admire its facade during a walk in this historic district. Information on +33 1 49 52 42 63.
