Church Saint-Pierre-de-Montrouge

Monument in Paris

Built in the second half of the 19th century, the Saint-Pierre-de-Montrouge church is located in the 14th arrondissement of Paris, at 82 avenue du Général Leclerc. Designed by architect Joseph Auguste Émile Vaudremer, it has been listed as a Historical Monument since the early 1980s.

Built as part of the great Haussmanian works of Paris, the Saint-Pierre-de-Montrouge church is an elegant neo-Romanesque millstone on a concrete bed. At the tip of the triangle, you can discover a semicircular portal surmounted by a steeple.

His style is largely inspired by those of Christian basilicas and Romanesque churches.
