Located in the 9th district of Paris, rue Sainte-Cécile, the Saint-Eugène-Sainte-Cécile church is a religious building of the 19th century. Listed as a Historical Monument, it is the work of Louis-Auguste Boileau and Adrien-Louis Lusson. Housed in the former location of the Hôtel des Menus-Plaisirs, she hosted the wedding of Jules Verne in 1857.
A Neo-Gothic building, it has a 13th century pastiche facade but reveals a Gothic style metal structure transposition inside. Enlightened by fifty or so windows covered with glass windows, it also reveals a very beautiful organ case with carved oak facade.
