Building built in the early 1920s, the castle of La Muette takes place in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, near the Bois de Boulogne. The current site is the fourth castle built at this location. Originally owned by Henri de Rothschild, it reveals a very beautiful architectural style of the eighteenth century.
Today headquarters of the OECD, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the castle of La Muette can be discovered through guided tours available in different languages.
This is an opportunity to admire rare woodwork including stops from the royal library of King Louis XV, conventional institutional furniture by Jacques Quinet and Gilbert Poillerat or the huge park of more than 20 000 m².
