Osselle-Routelle is a commune in the Doubs, in Burgundy, Franche-Comte, 15 km southwest of Besancon, the Jura border.
It was established in January 1, 2016 following the merger of localities Osselle, its seat (440 inhabitants) and Routh (490 inhabitants), now comprising some 960 inhabitants.
The municipality wide 10 km² is nestled in a loop of the course of the Doubs that runs along the Rhône-Rhine Canal, built during the first third of the nineteenth century.
