Built at the beginning of the 17th century in Ornans, in the Doubs, the mansion Sanderet de Valonne is now listed as an historic monument. School of boys between 1807 and 1921, it then served as a post office until 1992. Since then, it houses the library-media library, as well as the archives of the small town.
You will be seduced by its street front with triangular broken pedimented openings on the ground floor, and beautiful wrought iron gates that protect the windows. On the floor, the latter have broken curved pediments lined with firepits.
