Located in the municipality of Ornans, in the Doubs, the mansion of Grospain was built in the 15th century before experiencing many changes in the seventeenth. Old town hall of the city between the end of the sixteenth century and the first half of the nineteenth century, it was later bought by an individual.
It is registered with the Historical Monuments for its spiral staircase, and still reveals a watchtower. The windows and doors have arches in braces typical of the Gothic flamboyant style and can be admired on a cul-de-lamp at the base of the turret staircase a carved character immodest position.
