Ornans, "Little Venice Comtoise ", capital of the canton Doubs in Franche -Comté, located on the main road D67 25 km from Besançon and 35 km from Pontarlier. Built from the sixth century in one of the most beautiful sites in Franche-Comte, on the banks of the Loue, it is also the birthplace of the painter and sculptor Gustave Courbet.
Bonnevaux-le-Prieuré is crossed by the Bremen and the Plaisir -Fontaine stream that rises in the Plaisir- Fontaine cave, classified site since 1912. Bonnevaux-le-Prieuré is a peaceful village with several farms, gourmet hotel - restaurant, cottages and a fish farm.
