On the borders of Anjou, at the gates of Brittany, on the hillsides overlooking the Loire Valley, this rural town will bring you peace and rest.
The landscapes are composed of vineyards, meadows and crops on hillsides, grassland on the Loire.
You can taste wines from producers, several cellars welcome you. You will discover the Muscadet, Gamay, Anjou, Loire Pineau, Malvasia, Chardonnay and Sauvignon and a delicious Crémant de Loire.
The story goes that the giant Gargantua, staying in the area, had to decide between the people of Liré and Marillais who thought each be halfway between Angers and Nantes. To delineate these two villages and to indicate as precisely as possible the right balance, Gargantua put his left foot on Nantes, Angers on the right foot and relieved himself. Everyone screamed: "Bouse is!" and the old town Bouzillé now attached to Orée-d'Anjou was born.
