Located in the town of Ombrée d'Anjou, the Château de Champiré is a former fortified castle now listed as a Historic Monument. From the original building, fortified with moats, one of the four remaining towers remains.
The current Château de Champiré, from the 18th century, reveals a main building on two levels remodeled into a pleasure residence and enlarged with a higher return wing. A decorative dwelling was also rebuilt there in the second half of the 18th century.
