Château du Petit- Ringelstein (or Château du Petit- Ringelsberg ) is located on a small hill that surrounds its dry stone walls. It measures about 61 m long and 21 m wide with a height of one meter. It is bordered by a moat. He is the subject of a classification as historical monuments since December 1898.
A career is near, which were carved stones bump. They probably date from the first third of the 13th century and were used for the Grand Ringelstein or the Hohenstein. Its history is not known. It could be an early form of the castle. Its present appearance can result from a late reshuffle, perhaps during a siege of Hohenstein.
