Village of Bas-Rhin, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Northern Vosges, Oberbronn takes place not far from Niederbronn-les-Bains, in the historic region of Alsace. It is located about fifty kilometers from Strasbourg, not far from Engwiller, Philippsbourg and Windstein.
Old medieval city, Oberbronn has retained many elements of its original appearance, including revealing beautiful half-timbered houses, covered paved streets or a wealth of colors. For a long time under German law, the lordship returned to France in 1793, with many other territories. After a merger with Zinswiller in 1974, she resumed full independence in the early 1990s.
Full of charm the Alsatian city of Oberbronn continues to seduce passing visitors by the interest of its architectural and historical heritage, but also by its very popular culinary specialty, the chestnut pudding.
