Noyal-Muzillac commune is located in the department of Morbihan in Brittany.
A showcase of the Renaissance period, the village has been awarded the "Bourg Rural Heritage of Britain". Noyal-Muzillac is also one of 12 towns of intercommunal Arc South Britain.
The first mention of the town as the "Noeal" dates back to the ninth century. At that time, it was established as a parish under the patronage of Saint Martin.
