The common Nouziers is the extreme north of the department of Creuse, in the limit of the Indre. It is crossed by two county roads, the RD2 and RD56, and is bounded on the east by the RD940. 25 kilometers of local roads and 13 rural roads crisscross the territory of the commune.
Covering an area of 1433 hectares, it is administratively located in the borough of Gueret and Township Châtelus-Malvaleix. The municipality is a member of the community of communes "Community Walk Future".
The town currently has a dozen farms of varying importance, craft businesses, a bar-restaurant and a shop-antiques flea market. Level of public services, the municipality has, in addition to the town hall, a communal post office open every morning Monday through Saturday.
Community life is very dense and active Nouziers and the culmination of events is the organization each year of the 24 hour race at Solex weekend of Pentecost, which attracts several thousand spectators.
