Located just five kilometers from Paris, Noisy-le-Sec is a commune in the Seine-Saint-Denis department in the Ile-de-France region. Limitrophe of Bobigny, Montreuil, Rosny-sous-Bois or Romainville, it benefits from an excellent public transport connection to discover the most beautiful tourist sites of the region.
Populated since Prehistory and the Gallo-Roman period, the commune of Noisy-le-Sec was born truly only in the Middle Ages. It was not until the nineteenth century and the arrival of the railway that the city developed and began to take on what it is today. Decorated with the War Cross following the destruction of World War II, Noisy-le-Sec is almost entirely rebuilt in the middle of the 20th century, thus beginning its economic and demographic expansion.
The town has, however, preserved some of the oldest architectural remains that can be seen during a visit to the city center. Its proximity to Paris and its geographical location make it a popular place for holidays in the Île-de-France.
