The Watersports Noron is located Niort, northwest of the city, on a long pond of 1 km bordering the Sevre river, near the fairgrounds.
Y are based sailing school and kayak club hosting young people of school age, but also leisure centers or groups.
Rowing, paddle, jet-ski, water skiing are also practiced by the general public as of slots. In this case, the motor boats and jet skis are allowed on the water on Tuesdays and Fridays from 18h to 20h, Saturday from 17h to 20h and Sundays from 14h to 20h.
Access to the site is free, but some clubs may seek payment for renting their equipment. Swimming is not allowed.
Note that in July and August, the stand-up paddle and canoeing activities are transferred to Niort Beach, on the Pre-Leroy site east of the city.
