Located in the Bas-Rhin, in the Grand Est region, Niedersteinbach is a very small village appreciated for its wooded and mountainous landscapes. The town takes place between Wissembourg and Bitche, Moselle, near the charming spa town of Niederbronn-les-Bains. It is an integral part of the Regional Natural Park of the Northern Vosges.
Formerly an outbuilding at the end of the 18th century in the county of Hanau-Lichtenberg, the village of Niedersteinbach joined the bosom of France. New property of the Grand Duchy of Hesse after the fall of Napoleon, it will become definitively French only after the two world wars in the twentieth century.
Full of charm, the commune of Niedersteinbach is appreciated today for its landscapes to discover the time of marked out hikes, but also for its historical inheritance.
