Located at Nice, in the Alpes-Maritimes, the Musée Prieuré du Vieux-Logis presents an incredible collection of French art and furniture from the 14th to the 16th century assembled by the Reverend Dominican Father Alfred Lemerre.
Installed in a villa in Nice completely remodeled in the 1930s, it unveils thirteen rooms including a dining room with old tins, a Gothic room, a bedroom with Renaissance furniture and a beautifully appointed kitchen. Upstairs, it is possible to admire the chapel, the oratory, the sacristy and a bedroom with many everyday objects.
Former mill stopped in the 19th century, the priory is decorated with a porch, a staircase and a bell tower in red ocher by Alfred Lemerre who settled there in 1922.
The Priory museum of Vieux-Logis is surrounded by a magnificent garden to discover during a walk.
