Nice Municipal Museum, in the Alpes-Maritimes, the Museum of Fine Arts Jules Cheret was opened in the late 1920s in a villa built in the nineteenth century to a former private advised of Tsar Alexander II, Leon Kotchoubey.

On the Italian Renaissance style, the building now offers a large collection of works covering the history of art from the sixteenth to the twentieth century. The site of the program, an important collection of the painter and poster artist Jules Cheret, as well as works by Fragonard, Vanloos, Dufy or Jan Brueghel the Elder.

Thematic exhibitions or guided tours are offered regularly to better understand the presented artists.
