Moussoulens is located near Carcassonne in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, in the Cabardès.
It grows well vine to wine quality. In addition to wines and vines, the knowledge of wine is reflected in the quality of the AOC Cabardès. Its originality is to combine the Mediterranean varieties (Syrah and Grenache) vines to Atlantic (Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot).
The town is also a place where black truffle harvest. The Ampélofolies of Cabardès in January are a great feast of truffles and wine.
