The station Morillon Grand Massif is located between 680 m and 2500 m altitude.

Morillon, the discreet charm of a village resort with a pleasant family atmosphere and vast ski domain in the Grand Massif. No less than 265 km on skis between Morillon, Samoens, Les Carroz, Flaine and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval.
Soup castrated (specialty morillonnaise) Ingredients: 500 g onion - 25 cl dry white wine 2 liters of water - 750 g Tomme de Savoie - 1 baguette - 1 pinch pepper - 30 g butter - 50 g grated County - 1 tablespoon peanut oil. Chop onions and melt with 20 g of butter and a spoonful of oil, after a slight coloration add the white wine, let it evaporate 5 minutes then add water. Cook gently for 30 minutes. Cut the baguette into thin slices and grill. Remove crust Tomme and slice thickness of 3 mm. In a large soup tureen by storing successive layer toast and slices of Tomme, then pour the broth of onions on top. Bake at 130 ° C for 2-3 hours. When the soup is nicely browned and dried the "castrated" by cutting several times. Add on top grated county and 10 g of butter in a small nut. Put the soup au gratin in a hot oven.

Samoens: Along the river Giffre the threshold of a broad glacial valley, the village is crowded around a large lime tree which says a lot about its history.
