Castle Mogère Montpellier is located to the east of the city center.
This is madness (vacation home and receiving) built in 1715 on behalf of Fulcran Limozin, the King's secretary, according to the plans of architect Jean Giral. In the course of the eighteenth century, one of his heirs is advisor to the Court of Auditors and Baron d'Empire, and it is always his descendants who own them.
Surrounded by a park dotted with statues, with an aqueduct and a superb buffet of water, the castle has a distinct, especially with a courtyard that closing two front building and a size stone façade surmounted a pediment. It opens onto a terrace with steps down to the garden.
The assembly is protected as historical monuments since 1945. Inside, besides a rich furniture (chairs Directoire style or Louis XVI), the decor formed including plasterwork and paintings and reliefs is also ranked.
The castle whose silhouette emerges on pine background and its park can be rented for receptions, but the area is also accessible to the public.
