Considered one of the most beautiful monuments in Champagne, the Château de Montmort is a private property which is no longer accessible to the public. A medieval fortress that seduced Victor Hugo in his time, it now takes the form of a raised brick construction with slate roofs and double ditches. Accessible by a bridge with three arches with a drawbridge, it is made up of three superimposed sets with elements dating back, for some, to the 12th century.
