The castle of Enclosed by walls on 4 hectares, the castle and its chapel, a jewel of the Renaissance, surrounded by a re-watered moat, stand in the middle of a “picturesque” park from the beginning of the 19th century. The audio guide, given to the visitor upon arrival, allows him to discover at his own pace all the architectural riches of this place enhanced with anecdotes which make it a lively and dynamic visit. Backing onto the park and its orangery, the 19th century orchards and vegetable gardens, like the park, are classified as Remarkable Gardens of France. An exceptional collection of fruit varieties (more than 200) in espaliers as well as vegetables and aromatics offer an exceptional spectacle where each tree, thanks to the audio guide, tells you about its historical and taste particularities. From this production, the chef will offer you lunch at his farm inn and taste his desserts on the terrace or in the orangery.
