After the Revolution, the buildings of the former Jesuit college, were occupied by the Sénatorerie Marshal François- Christophe Kellermann, Duke of Valmy, then Little Sorbonne (1827-1834), founded by Monsignor Pope Trévern.
Later a little more, in 1836, regular Chanoinesses St. Augustine came Dieuze (Moselle) there established a boarding school, the Convent of Our Lady. For over a century, they devoted themselves to the education of girls in the region until the closure of the establishment, in 1954.
Due to Lorraine architect Vautrin, neo- Gothic chapel Chanoinesses (1864-1867) is dedicated to the Sacred Heart. Neo- medieval style, it has a cruciform plan and seduced by the big pink façade and transept and its portal columns. After years of neglect, it was restored for worship in 1984 with the association " Friends of the Chapel of Our Lady."
In the old park remains a boarding oratory formerly known as the " Chapel of the Children of Mary."
The chapel is open from May to September, daily from 9am to 18pm.
From October to April, daily from 9h to 17h.
