Formerly known as the Château de l'Erigny, the Château de La Motte is a beautiful 17th century building listed as a Historic Monument. Built by François Abel de Luppé, mayor of the town at the start of the French Revolution, the building is today not accessible to visitors.
The Château de La Motte is in the form of a manor with pink exterior walls, a two-story main building and a main facade topped with a triangular pediment. The whole is flanked by two pavilions, with a chapel nearby.
