- Its location:
- The Common Mirebeau-sur-Bèze, capital of Canton, with more than 2,000 inhabitants, is located on a major road about twenty kilometers from Dijon. It is part of the so-called natural region of Val de Saône. Watered by the river Beza, the average altitude is about 200 meters. Its castle remaining two towers and part of the walls that form an imposing mound. The traces of the city walls are close to the cure along the Beza and limits the football field (road Dijon).

- In 1560, in a will, there is Mirebel-sur-Beze. Several explanations for this origin are advanced: The Etymology fans assume that the name comes from some terrible battles (Mirabella). Others think that the name is derived from hot springs that watered this place: Sea Mire "Water" and Boyl "Hot".
