Small town in the Rhone region in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Millery takes place about twenty kilometers from Lyon and its famous park of the golden head. It is also located near Vernaison, Solaize Grigny.
Crossed by two major Roman roads, the village of Millery was occupied since the Gallo-Roman. He knows subsequently an important development in the Middle Ages, thanks to the foundation of a Benedictine abbey to prosperity. Known for its wine business and Coteaux du Lyonnais, the municipality also industrialized in the nineteenth century before taking his current pace.
Its proximity to the Metropolis of Lyon and its interesting architectural heritage is still a popular spot for visitors passing.
