Mesnières-en-Bray

The Renaissance castle, classified as a Historic Monument, can be visited. Guided tours are organized every day in July and August from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Allow at least 1h30 to visit the monument, walk possible in the park of the castle (gardens and aviaries). It is good to book on +33 2 35 93 10 04.

The visit to the castle can continue with a stroll through the streets of the village. A marked path will guide you. Allow between 30 minutes and why not two hours depending on your curiosity. The walk will take you through the streets and alleys of a flowery village, following the path of Cérès and the little photographer, to discover artistic works that we owe to the ceramists "Jacques and Juliette Damville". On this occasion, you will cross three small public gardens adorned with large-format photographic exhibitions and discover an exceptional small rural heritage: dovecote, well, bread oven, chicken coop... typical Brayonne house in cob and half-timbering... Between June and October, for groups of at least 8 people and by reservation with the town hall on +33 2 35 93 10 14, the walk can be accompanied and commented on for free.

Many hiking trails, the St-Amador hill and the "sainfoins" wetland, preserved and enhanced natural areas, as well as the discovery circuit of "Cérès and the little photographer" will allow you to better know the territory and to understand its commitment to preserve its environment.

The village is the first road station in the Pays de Bray landscapes, a tourist route dotted with orientation tables which are available to cyclists and motorists alike.

• The flower festival: one Sunday in May.
• Flea market: every Sunday before July 14th.
• The week of hiking "every day, its hike": hiking in all its forms. On foot, by bike, by Vélosolex, by coach, themed, nightlife, cultural, discovery... for everyone, but always under the sign of conviviality, is scheduled for the last week of July, ask for the program at the town hall!
• A garage sale in the streets and gardens of the flowered village: a Sunday in September.
• National Heritage Days: the 3rd Sunday of September.

For the more athletic, no less than 8 hiking loops departing from the center of the village are offered to you (you don't have to do everything on the same day, moreover one of the loops "the circuit du Talou" is covered on foot over 4 days).
