Housed in a charming building from the early twentieth century, the museum is dedicated to Menton Prehistory. A true journey into the heart of daily life of prehistoric man in the region, the site also has the more recent history of Menton, including through interior reconstructions home or traditional objects.
Recounting what makes the essence of the city, the museum Menton also deals in several rooms the history of cultivation of lemons, olive or fishing. On site, visitors discover including nine life-size dioramas, an audiovisual room with films on prehistoric or kiosks. In recent years, the museum also houses a permanent exhibition, Treasures of Wrecks - The sea routes of the Mediterranean, on underwater archeology.
