Maisons-Alfort is a city of about 54,000 inhabitants located south-east of Paris, near Porte de Bercy, at the confluence of the Marne and Seine, in the Val-de-Marne. The town has excellent road links and motorways as well as easy access by public transport (metro, RER and bus). Maisons-Alfort has evolved in harmony with its ancient history and respect for its natural and architectural heritage that works to protect, maintain and develop whether the Marne, to suburban districts or representative buildings of the 1930s.
