Located in a former 17th century convent of Mâcon, in Saône-et-Loire, the Ursulines museum is dedicated to the history of art from Antiquity to the 21st century. Labeled Musée de France, it unveils more than 25,000 works to be discovered in the rooms dedicated to archaeological collections, to the literary and political work of Alphonse de Lamartine or to regional landscapers of the 19th century.
Also labeled Tourism and Handicap, the Ursulines Museum also offers several cultural events throughout the year, such as temporary thematic exhibitions, workshops for children and even conferences.
