Multipurpose hall located in the Gerland district, the Palais des Sports de Lyon opened in 1962. With a capacity of 7,999 people, it also has an annex, the small Palais des Sports, particularly used by local volleyball teams.
The Sports Hall of Lyon hosts various sporting events throughout the year revolving around tennis, handball, beach soccer, volleyball, figure skating and basketball. Concerts, plays or exceptional events are also offered there.
The site has a modular runway that can go up to 2400 m² and which changes depending on the events. On site, it is also possible to enjoy a meeting room, VIP boxes or a private space with reception rooms.
