- La Saison Maeterlinck honors the life and work of Symbolist writer Maurice Maeterlinck in Normandy, with three exhibitions and two shows. A plunge into the dreamlike world of this Nobel Prize winner (1911), who inspired composers such as Claude Debussy with Pelléas et Mélisande and Paul Dukas with Ariane et Barbe-Bleue. Maeterlinck's work resonates in its ecological, psychoanalytical and technological avant-gardism with contemporary questions about the relationship between the invisible, the spiritual, the infinitely small and the infinitely large. - The exhibition at the Luneray Library is devoted to L'Oiseau bleu, one of his major works.

In fact, it was in 1898 that the Belgian author settled in Normandy.
