The "Castrum Lunarenses" was first mentioned in 909. Lunas then consisted of four hamlets at the foot of the castle.
Destroyed during the wars of religion, it was rebuilt in the village and is still inhabited.
Until the last century, were woven in Lunas sheets broom and tanned skin there.
