Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Visigneux takes place in the town of Lucenay-l'Évêque, in Saône-et-Loire. Inhabited private property and not accessible to the public, it is in the form of a rectangular house flanked by a two-storey pavilion which was the old castle.
From the outside, it is possible to admire a roof of small tiles and stone skylights from the 17th or 18th century. A parterre of lawn and trimmed boxwood, an orangery, a dovecote and a small chapel with a steeple-arcade complete the architecture of the Château de Visigneux.
