The church was built between 1865 and 1867. It dominates a vast panorama from the esplanade of Mount St Alban. It is neo -Romanesque -Byzantine style and hides a well attractive interior.
This church has remarkable capitals (82), storied, made by the sculptor Guillaumet. They relate to biblical scenes but also plant decorations, animals and history of the universal and local Church.
36 stained glass windows by Lobin Tours are also visible.
