The village church, dedicated to Saint-Clair, was built in the 12th century. Destroyed in 1363, during the Hundred Years War, it remained in ruins for a long time. It was not until 1628 that it was partly rebuilt. A republican symbol stands alongside the religious building. Right next to it, a fountain dating from 1891 is surmounted by the Marianne aux Médailles.
The Lorlanges lake is a Natura 2000 classified site and a Sensitive Natural Area. As in the town of Espalem, you don't really have to look for a lake, but rather a wetland, home to remarkable flora and fauna. This site is managed by the Conservatoire d'Espaces Naturels d'Auvergne, in partnership with the municipality.
Eight species of amphibians of heritage interest are referenced, including the crested newt, a protected species. This large newt can be observed in the educational pond, at the entrance to the site. Protected.
