Become common 17 February 1864, was part Locqueltas under the old regime, the County Argoët. Many lords had their stronghold. Manor Camzon (XVII), the largest of them is still visible. But Locqueltas also been at the forefront of progress: in 1902, the county stopped train for the first time at the station in the hamlet of Morbouleau. It's the same one that led the U.S. in 1918. The town was one of the first rural communities to receive electricity in 1932.
A fire destroyed the town July 18, 1887 and the town is cut off a part of its territory between 1874 and 1876 to allow the creation of the military camp Meucon.
