Town of Eure-et-Loire, in region Centre-Val de Loire, Les Villages-Vovéens is born from the merger of the towns of Montainville of Rouvray-Saint-Florentin, from Villeneuve-Saint-Nicolas and Voves. This new city takes place in the district of Chartres and to discover, near the most beautiful tourist attractions.

This association of municipalities has helped to expand the city and highlight the various monuments that the historical heritage of this set. At the heart of the campaign of the Eure-et-Loir, Les Villages-Vovéens show visitors the charms of the countryside and especially the Beauce, green and unspoiled region.

The proximity of the new city with Chartres also allows exploring the architecture of this city and its many monuments, like the famous cathedral.

Things to see and do

By reuniting the four towns of Les Villages-Vovéens today highlighted their mutual heritage.

Set on the old town of Rouvray-Saint-Florentin, Castle Reverseaux was classified as an historic monument. Built between 1715 and 1730, it is now a private property belonging to the family of Marshal Gouvion Saint-Cyr. On the outside, however we can admire a courtyard with two Louis XIII style pavilions, moats, or a similar style façade. The old town also has a tower, a remnant of the Pavilion farm. Today
