New municipality of the Ardennes, in the Grand Est region, Bairon-et-ses-environs was born on January 1, 2016 from the merger of Louvergny, Le Chesne and Les Alleux. It is located about forty kilometers from Charleville-Mézières, near Sy and Marquigny.
Occupied since the Gallo-Roman era, the ancient villages of Bairon-et-ses-environs were mainly developed in the 19th century with the arrival of the railway. Especially agricultural, the new town also attracts visitors and tourists thanks to its dynamism and its leisure offer.
With a natural heritage sympathetic, its proximity to some of the most beautiful sites in the region make it a very pleasant resort.
