Also called Canche lighthouse, the lighthouse of Touquet takes place in the town of Touquet-Paris-Plage, in the Pas-de-Calais. Listed as a historic monument for its buildings and classified for its tower, it consists of a large octagonal tower almost sixty meters high.
Composed of 274 steps, it was commissioned in the early 1950s and was built entirely of brick and concrete. Formerly forbidden to the public, it is accessible again since 2010.
