The village of Revest-les-Eaux, Lou Revest Leis Aigos Occitan Provencal is a special place where life is good!
The air quality is remarkable, its sunny climate and historical heritage of great wealth: King René's castle built in 1578, Saint Kitts completed in the 17th century, pigeon perched on a sandstone block, cabinet currencies, Coptic Museum East and West, where home Comon are scheduled throughout the year, plays, variety shows, painting exhibitions.
Located on the outskirts of Toulon, is the city in the country, in fact it only takes 10 minutes to find all activities and attractions in the city: bowling, karting, shopping centers ... not to mention the visit of one of the most beautiful bay in Europe!
The Revest has about 3700 inhabitants and extends over 2,400 hectares of nature largely protected. It is surrounded by the Mount Faron (584 m), Mount Caume (804 m), Grand Cape (796 m) and Mount Coudon (702 m) where it is not uncommon for stealing a pair of eagles Bonelli. Its network of groomed trails and allows many walks and hikes (GR 99, GR 51).
The old village is quaint yet authentic typically Provençal. It was built on the rock at the foot of the tower "medieval". The town was called Le Revest-les-Eaux from 1918, 6 years after construction of the dam used to hold water and drowned several sources that form a nice lake to visit especially in summer to find a little fresh in a green wilderness.
Numerous events open to all are organized by the Festival Committee Revestois throughout the year.
