Common of Normandy, Le Petit-Quevilly is located in the department of Seine-Maritime, on the banks of a meander of the Seine. Limitrophe of Rouen, it is also close to Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray or Grand-Quevilly, whose football team has distinguished itself at the best level.
The town was born in the twelfth century of its split with Le Grand-Quevilly. It is illustrated mainly in the nineteenth century with an industrial past of great interest. Le Petit-Quevilly is notably known for its spinning which then had an important reputation in the rest of the country. Following the exceptional economic crisis of 1929, the town forgets little by little this industry, becoming a residential city.
Enjoying an interesting architectural heritage and benefiting from a geographical location ideal to discover the charms of Normandy, Le Petit-Quevilly attracts every year many visitors.
